Steven Dipuglia has been a part of the South Florida baseball community his entire life and has extended his reach throughout the state of Florida during both his playing and professional scouting careers. Steven graduated from Cooper City HS in 2015 where he was recognized with multiple All-County selections and POY during his senior year. Steven was also drafted in the 37th rd by the Washington Nationals in the 2015 MLB Draft.
Forgoing the draft, Steven attended Western Kentucky University where he was named the Pre-Season Freshman of the Year for Conference USA. During his time at WKU, Steven was the first freshman in 35 years to start every game at SS for the WKU Hilltoppers. At the start of his junior year, Steven opted to transfer to beautiful Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fl. In 2019 Steven helped lead Flagler to the D2 Peach Belt Conference Title.
After graduating in 2019, he began his scouting career as a part time South Florida area scout with the Baltimore Orioles. In the Fall of 2021, Steven was offered and accepted the full time Florida scouting position with the Houston Astros. In 2022, Steven was a World Series Champion as a member of the Houston Astros. During his time with the Houston Astros, Steven was an integral part of the signing process for many players for the World Series Champions.
Steven resides in Bradenton, Fl. with his wife Maddie and will assist in the west coast of Florida territory.
