As a 14X CWS participant and 2X NCAA D1 National Champion, getting accurate information when inquiring about a recruit was an important part of the process.
I have known Mike for close to 30 years, having worked numerous camps/clinics/and showcases with him. I knew I could always rely on Mike when inquiring about a prospective recruit. The accurate evaluation, projected impact, along with the necessary academic information that he would provide was an extremely vital part of the process when I inquired about a player.
Mike's background of a High School and College Head Coach, along with the last 21 years and counting as a Major League Scout, gives him a clear perspective of where players will fit at. His experiences have also enabled him to build valued and trusted relationships with college coaches from all over the country.
With Mike bringing his services to the public, he can now help even more players and their families achieve their dreams of playing baseball at the collegiate level.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANYTHING ELSE!
If Mike Silvestri & FDRS is interested in your child after evaluating them, then there is no better fit. Mike Silvestri takes your hard-earned money very seriously and does not want to invest it in his time if he does not think your child has a future. He is bluntly honest and caring. He helps your child make their own decisions about their future. It is an education. When Mike calls the Head Coach, he will speak to them. Other programs will promise you the world but what do they really deliver on? Speaking to “THE” Coach who is the decision maker, makes all the difference in the world. Don’t bother going to a College Day Recruiting Camp without having Mike speak with several of the coach’s first. If not, then your child’s chances of being noticed and standing out from the crowd are far slimer then you think. I cannot tell you the amount of $$$$$ I have spent over the course of several years trying to help promote my son. We spent 30k on 2 different Baseball Academies, up to 10k a year in summer travel baseball and thousands more in training. In the end, it was a phone call from Mike Silvestri that got my son into Skidmore College. A high-end academic school that my son would not be able to attend if it were not for Mike. If you are reading this, then I implore you to contact him and save yourself money in the long run and call him now.
Sincerely,
Troy Modlin
Coach Roque was instrumental in helping me move on to the next level. Moving on to college baseball is very difficult. Anyone wishing to play college baseball needs somebody on their side. Coach Roque and his staff are the guys that helped me move on and I will always appreciate their efforts. They are attentive and are always responsive to my requests and my questions. If not for them, I would not be heading off to Rollins College to play baseball in the fall. Thanks guys!

Mike,
My boy did it!! He committed to Division 1 baseball at FLORIDA GULF COAST UNIVERSITY!! You helped make that happen. You should feel equally proud that your dedication to the game and the athletes you help paid off. It’s hard to find the words to express my sincerest gratitude for your help, Your guidance, expertise and of course…knowledge of the game of baseball that made the recruiting process so much easier.
When we first were introduced I had read only a little about your service at Florida Diamond and I really was not sure how the process of recruiting worked and if it was even necessary to have someone help. In sports there is always a worry that it’s just another “money grab” or can I do this on our own. What started as a business relationship turned into a friendship. You told us early on it was a slow process and you set the expectation…which was very important and very true. Now, 18 months later…I can honestly say, Mike…my friend, you are no “money grab”. You put your knowledge and relationships to work immediately. You told us to trust the process and we did. You told us when the time would be right to show Marky off to the college world and when it was right…and you did! You recommended the right school to fit Marky’s abilities…and they listened. You made the contact with the right coaches… and they saw it our son. You are the man!! My family cannot thank you enough!
Please feel free to share our story with anyone with the same hesitations. If they ever want to just pick up the phone and call us as someone that has been in their shoes, feel free to give them my telephone number. I would be happy to talk them through the process as well.
Thank you again and go FGCU Eagles! #WingsUp

Florida Diamond Recruiting Services (FDRS) takes professionalism to another level. When our son entered the transfer portal in 2023, we were nervous about the outcome of that decision. We researched and spoke to a few different consulting firms concerning the transfer process before deciding to work with FDRS. What we liked most about FDRS is that before they allowed us to pay a fee for the service, they wanted to feel reasonably certain that they could actually help our son find a new home. They accomplished this by going above and beyond to get to know him and to gain a deep understanding of the circumstances surrounding his situation. Additionally, they conducted a very good academic and athletic evaluation so they could ultimately match him with a school that best suited his needs. Once they decided to take our child into the program, they became an advocate making calls all over the US, directly to head coaches, on our child’s behalf. Thanks to Mike and his team, our son was able to find a great opportunity to continue his baseball career in South Florida. If your child finds himself in a situation where they need to transfer, look no further than FDRS to guide you through the process. Truly remarkable customer service from start to finish.

I have known Mike for over 20 years. I was fortunate to have been recruited by him while I was playing alongside a future 3rd round pick and longtime MLB player whom he was also recruiting.
Our relationship is a special one as he has been a mentor both on and off the field. He has helped guide me in my both my playing and professional career. He was my first link to my first HS coaching career as well as my MLB Scouting Career.
His guidance throughout the years has made a tremendous impact on me personally, and I'm proud to call him a great friend to my family and myself.
His name is synonymous with baseball in not only the South Florida community, but the rest of the country and internationally. His opinion and word is highly respected in the collegiate and professional baseball industries. I have seen the work he has done helping many families and their sons achieve the dream of playing baseball collegiately. With his new platform, Mike will be able to reach many more families and help them as well.
I came to Mike very late in the recruiting process with an unconventional request; my son Josh wanted to play on the West Coast despite being from the East Coast. Mike was very upfront and honest about the difficulties of that type of request but got right to work. He produced a very professional video, provided us with a straightforward task list, and began working his numerous contacts. Through those contacts, his credentials, and his reputation, he was able to garner significant interest from my son's top West Coast schools. Understanding the process, he knew my son would would need to play on the West Coast in a competitive tournament where the schools could see him. He coordinated with one of the most competitive travel baseball teams in California to allow him to play in one of the most high profile tournaments on the West Coast. Every school on my son's list was at the event. My son ended up committing to his #1 school 2 days into the tournament. The whole process took a little over two months. We had previously been working with someone else for over two years. Mike was instrumental in helping my son become part of the 2% of High School baseball players that play at the Division 1 level.
While we used other platforms at the beginning of the recruiting process for our son, none compared to the individualized attention we received once we sought the assistance of Mike Silvestri and his team at Florida Diamond Recruiting Services (FDRS).
Once FDRS became part of our team, the recruiting process and interest from potential college baseball programs started to take traction. We consider FDRS' networking and ability to personally highlight our son's skills to college coaches, as the key factor and characteristic not generally found in other recruiting services we encountered.
FDRS' attention to geographic, athletic, most importantly academic goals are second to none. Tirelessly using these objectives, they identified a path never deviating from the course, which at times can be overwhelming for families when navigating recruiting alone.
The FDRS' team's honesty and willingness to answer calls at all times was clear evidence they were on the job 24/7 in getting our son matched up with the proper learning institution, that would allow him to find successes in both his academic and athletic careers.

I have known Mike personally for 25+ years and have been fortunate to work with him on numerous showcases/camps/ and scouting events. As a former D1 player and College World Series participant while at Florida State University, I saw firsthand his knowledge and communication skills with his peers. My family leaned on Mike heavily during the navigation of my son's recruiting process. With Mike's guidance and help, my son was able to land a Full Scholarship to a Florida Junior College. I know he has helped hundreds of athletes during his career, and with his new venture, he will be able to use his evaluation skills and contacts to help your son as well further his baseball career.
